Our foundational program offering is a basic membership to our online community and school built in Mighty Networks. The basic membership costs only $45/month. The first year of this program, we are focusing on passing along the core philosophies and practices that are at the foundations of what we shorthand as “depth somatics” – the intersection of depth psychology, somatics, creative expression, and the sacred. Benefits of membership include:
- Monthly themes that guide you through the process of inner alchemy, and keep you connected to alchemical cycles of transformation playing out in the natural world and the larger cosmic field.
- Weekly live gatherings on Tuesdays at 5pm. These gatherings will cycle each month through a live talk on the month’s themes; guided depth somatic practices that help us experience and move with/be moved by the alchemical phases and our own material; an interview with special guest teachers; and a live open discussion & process group.
- A growing library of recordings. Everything but the live process groups and rituals will be recorded, so you can also watch and rewatch them on your own time.
- Weekly Thursday morning Cosmic Tea somatic meditations with faculty Trinity Capili, that you can join live at 7am PT or catch the recording of.
- A private community feed where you can post about your life and process, share dreams and crazy synchronicities, reflect on what you’re learning and discovering, and get support when it’s needed.
- First dibs on joining small-group courses & workshops where you can go deeper into specific topics that are calling to you, and/or get containment and support for your creative practice. Already in the works for the winter season: a 9-week small group poetry workshop.
- Generous discounts on in-person programming at our Portland, Oregon somatics studio The Ground Floor, including a weekly Sunday 10am practice.
As an example, our first three months of online programming in the fall will have themes connected with the alchemical phase of descent, the nigredo. We will be talking about underworld journeys and shadow work, how to encounter the unconscious, how to work with the intense emotions we normally defend ourselves from feeling, and how to stack the deck for regeneration and healing. It will be the perfect accompaniment to this Venus retrograde in Scorpio we will all be living through.
The sweet thing about the basic membership—you can join at anytime. While I think it would be pretty magical to join at the beginning and literal ground floor, there is no bad time to sync up with the cycle, and we really want this to be free from any weird marketing pressure tactics. When you feel called to check it out, you’ll get a free week to see what we’re up to and whether you want to be a part of it. Here’s a link to the landing page: https://inner-doors.mn.co/landing/
